The first World Food Day was observed in 1979 by FAO’s (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) Member Countries at the 20th General Conference. 16 October of every year was remembered as the World Food Day. On this day in 1945 the foundation of FAO (Food and Agricultural Organization) was laid down in the United Nations. More than 150 countries unite to overcome the issue of poverty and hunger and make efforts to provide enough food for healthy life.
Some countries on the globe are more food and less population and can easily feed the masses, while the other have more population and less food which leads them to hunger and poverty.
